lkyl Phosphates



Video Description:

Alkyl phosphates are used in insecticides like E 605 or war gases like Tabune or Serine.

They are the antidote of Curare and can lead to exitus, caused by respiratory paralysis.

1. Alkyl Phosphates (orange sphere) inhibiting the enzyme Cholinesterase (violet)

2. The transmitters can't dock and aren't splitted into parts.

3. So, the transmitters rest in the synaptic cleft between the axon and the dendrite.

4. Clopseup: Tracking of a transmitter molecule bouncing in the synaptic cleft.

5. Constant depolarisation of the dendrite.
